Last year Beth had a super summer furlough meltdown because her nemesis Katie Lee [Billy Joel's ex-wife] had her book made into a movie for the Hallmark Channel while both Beth and Howard continued to do nothing and got zero attention having to sit and stew in a pot of irrelevancy.
Yes, it's worse when Howard is not on the air to talk up his wife and plug events so Beth can hop in a camera shot to get her fame fix at some random Hamptons society event. Once Howard is off the air, his hot air balloon deflates into obscurity.
Last year during the Stern furlough, all Howard could come up with as a publicity stunt was getting Beth stung by bees and having an allergic reaction. She posted a photo of herself in the ER. This was all Howard could come up with to get Beth the attention she craves. [See the blog sidebar for the bee backstory.]
So this summer furlough season, the Sterns were back in action doling out the dough to get Beth back on the cover of Social Life magazine and hogging Hamptons events. They even opened up their Hamptons house again for paying customers. I say paying because the Sterns badger people into staying at their house for a weekend while Beth captures them for hours long lectures on her Beth's Furry Friends foundation and how she houses cats in cages and expects donations. It's like those time share vacations, where you get an all expenses paid trip but you have to listen to hours of sales pitches on buying a time share. That's the Sterns in a nutshell but it's all about giving Beth cash donations to pay for your 'free' stay at the Sterns Hamptons Hostel and B&B.
Sirius finally got another concert sponsored at The Stephen Talkhouse roadhouse bar starring Ed Sheeran and of course Howard and Beth Buttinsky showed up and paraded in front of the hired photographer for the event. Beth has struggled to make it to the top of that fame staircase this summer, making the rounds at stale Hamptons events and getting her one paid cover feature on Social Life magazine as Howard continues to pay for publicity for himself and that loser pariah he married that is only famous for the amount of Botox she can inject in her head and she tries to hide it under a huge hat.

Howard Stern detaches from Leon Black in spite
of Stern saying he got him the job at Sirius
This blogger exclusively revealed that as far back as 2015, Howard Stern admitted on his stale satellite radio show that it was Leon Black who was responsible for bringing Howard to Sirius. Howard ignores the fact that XM satellite radio snubbed him first, so he had no choice but to sign with Sirius. However, it was not solely Black who brought Stern to Sirius, but the man in a dress and woman's wig Martine Rothblatt, who Howard had as a guest on his show shortly after he started with Sirius in 2006. Howard acknoweldged that Rothblatt got Stern the Sirius deal and Rothblatt said on the air that whatever Howard wanted, whatever contract he wanted, he could have because Rothblatt started Sirius satellite radio and could give Stern his lifetime contract.
Beth and Howard also bragged on the air about how they named their black cat Leon Bear after their buddy Leon Black. The Sterns have since backed off this claim due to the scandal surrounding Black's ties with Epstein.

One wonders the connection Black has with Stern as Stern credited Black with getting him his Sirius deal, yet now he refuses to give a comment to the press over
this scandal.
