INTERESTING that there is no NEW channel for Metallica. Nope, SiriusXM is out of space on those aged out satellites orbiting the U.S. airspace.
No wonder Howard can't get his new dedicated music channel which would be Howard 102 because then it would mean Sirius would have to delete an existing channel and replace it with Stern.
SiriusXM Channel 42 will now be the Maximum Metallica channel, which launches on August 29, 2025, featuring 24/7 music, live performances, and commentary from the band Metallica. This channel replaces Drake's "Sound 42," a hip-hop and R&B station that was canceled in March 2025.
Talk It Up
For several years, The Stephen Talkhouse live music club has hosted private subscriber events for SiriusXM, with the most notable being the Coldplay concert back in 2016, when the former Real Housewife Bethenny Frankel got bad press and got her show canceled by Sirius when she threw her drink on some women who were too loud and disrupting the concert. Beth O Stern was there too to witness the drama.
The incident got a mention in US Magazine and Beth was mentioned also with her last name misspelled in the press item. On August 18, 2018, Beth got her own sponsored event via SiriusXM and Howard Stern Productions when she hosted an appearance at the Talkhouse of David Spade, with all ticket sales going straight to Beth's initial foundation called Bianca's Furry Friends.

Last year, as blogged about on August 17, 2024, Howard Stern showed up at The Stephen Talkhouse for another one of those SiriusXM concert events, this time featuring Jelly Roll, but Howard also came up with being a guest on the "Smartless" podcast so he could be the center of attention during his annual Sirius-mandated furlough. The Smartless broadcast was aired on Sirius in September just when Howard returned to his stale airwaves and his boss Jennifer Witz has to pretend it's a new season of the Stern show because Howard thinks a phone app is television.
Same thing this year when Howard made an appearance on August 28, 2025, at the Talkhouse for a SiriusXM concert event featuring Metallica to advertise their Sirius channel that replaced a rap music channel on Channel 42 which was canceled.

for the Metallica concert.

Beth Still in Summer Reruns
Beth posted another old photo from 2023 pretending it's current as filler for her IG show. That's why a lot of people think she never ages, well, we have no clue the original dates of these phony photoshoots Howard does of his 'resident model' Beth O and they are just stored on her iPhone and she doles them out whenever she wants to pretend she's famous as Howard tries to shop around these stale photos and get them printed somewhere in online articles about Beth.
Biegel's Big Fish
Katie Lee [Joel] Biegel continues to outshine Beth and has another movie she did for the Hallmark Channel as Beth continues to be fired from that channel when they used to air her annual Kitten Bowl on Super Bowl Sunday. Hallmark used to also air the Hero Dog Awards but Beth was canned from hosting that event even though it is now held in Palm Beach where the Sterns have a home.

| Katie had to deal with Howard hankering for a beach bite during the filming of her Hallmark movie, "Catch of the Day". Howard had hoped to be included in the movie where he gets caught in Katie's net and has to be rescued by frogmen but he was escorted off the set with Katie saying he's harmless but he just can't keep away from her luscious lox. |
