It's because Beth was wearing a genuine leather jacket while claiming to be a super animal advocate and she is the useless spokesperson and board member of the North Shore Animal League (NSAL). Howard Stern and Joels also claim to be animal advocates.
How interesting that these phonies can be outed as being giant animal activist phonies who wear real leather once Ralph the Hen can no longer guard the henhouse.

Beth works for NSAL and was a part of their capital project raising funds for their cat center and Billy Joel donated tickets sales from one of his MSG concerts. So all these phony animal advocates appeared with Beth and Howard wearing genuine black leather jackets which offended animal lovers worldwide.

Howard: “Yeah, right, it’s so true. First of all, I want to thank Alexis and Billy so much because they’ve been very, very good friends to Beth and myself.”
Beth: “And supportive of my rescue work all these years.”
Howard: “I can never forget how supportive you guys, both of you, were around Beth’s you know saving of animals. I know, Billy, you’re a huge animal lover and Alexis, you are, too. And you guys really stepped up because we got that whole wing at North Shore Animal League built with your help.”
Billy Joel: “That’s a great place.”
Howard: “Incredibly generous.”
Beth: “And then for my fiftieth birthday they gave — Billy and Alexis donated — there’s a room in my name and there’s so many lives being saved in that room. I just visited it last week and so it brings me to tears so thank you for that.”
Howard: “Really, it was insane. I mean, that was some birthday gift. It was a huge donation.”
Billy Joel: “It was our honor.”
Howard: “Well, you’re very generous and you saved a lot of our four-legged friends.”
Beth: “Nothing’s cuter than when Billy and Alexis come over and Howard and I go to the foster room and they’re all playing with all the kittens.”
Billy Joel: “We take the kids and they play with the kittens.”
Alexis Joel: “Our kids are obsessed with your kitten room.”
Howard: “Your kids think my house is Disneyland. They come in, they’re playing with cats and rabbits.”
Billy Joel: “They take over.”
Howard: “ … Well, they’re sweet kids.”

It's because she's wearing genuine leather and would be questioned in the comments section of her post and she would have to take it down. In the past when she's been questioned about a leather outfit, she will say it's fake leather, this time, she avoided the issue by not posting this photo at all. |
If wearing leather were NOT an issue, then why did Billy, Howard and Beth NOT wear leather to the opening of the NSAL cat adoption center except for Rachael Ray? They all did wear black since the NSAL cat center opening was on All Hallow's Eve in 2019, This is sure an interesting little coven.

A New IG Series produced by howard Stern
Since this blogger has blogged about Beth being snubbed by New York Fashion Week since 2017 and having to do her own Florida fashion shows from her porch until the reptile invasion stopped all that, she's had to resort to selfie Miami hotel modeling. But now, Howard came up with a new gimmick for his model reject wife. Yes, Howard got the braino idea to produce a new IG selfie series of Beth modeling from her cat closet in her Florida fortress crammed with cat furniture and not much else.

Timothée Chalamet was in London promoting Dune Part 2 but he did not appear at the BAFTA awards because only "Wonka" was nominated while he was overlooked in the Best Actor category due to jealousy by other studios who shut him out.
