So, suddenly on today's Howard Stern satellite radio show, was a Bonham bombshell - gee, what timing, just when this blogger has been reporting on Led Zep for 4 months and counting.
So what happened on today's Stern show? Sammy Hagar was a guest on the show today along with his band and performed at the Sirius studios from Los Angeles. Sammy made a huge announcement on Howard's show today that JASON BONHAM is touring with Hagar's band in 2024 - oh gee, what a coincidence! Just when the Beth Fan Page has been covering Led Zep since August of this year - uh - no it wasn't.
John 'Bonzo' Bonham was the famous drummer for Led Zeppelin and when he dropped dead unexpectedly, the band disbanded and only had a few reunions with the surviving members since Bonzo's death in 1980.
Bonzo's son Jason is a drummer having played with Plant and Page in a few of their concerts and records when they briefly reunited, and also played drums for the full reunion concert featuring all three surviving members of the band at the London 02 Arena in 2007. That reunion concert holds the Guinness Book of World Records for the highest demand for tickets for one concert as 20 million requests for the reunion show were rendered online. Jason also played the drums during the Kennedy Center Honors of Led Zeppelin when Heart was featured on stage honoring the band and their iconic genius masterpiece songs.
YES - Howard Stern is obsessed with this blogger's obsession with Percy and Pagey, and of course with the entire band and their iconic masterpiece albums and now Sammy Hagar hired Bonzo's son Jason - oh, yeah, everyone reads the Beth Fan Page but remember that Page is not a Plant and Plant is no longer potted but Bonzo is.

Parton Pledged to Reunite Page and Plant
Interesting that Dolly Parton is scheduled to be on the Howard Stern satellite radio show tomorrow, just when it was reported in 2022 that she wanted to produce a rock and roll album that included a reunion of the remaining members of Led Zeppelin with John Bonham's son on drums. Howard Stern sure has a theme lately and it comes from the Beth Fan Page featuring Plant and Page from the Led Zeppelin days since August 2023 on this blog site.
Dolly also mentioned in that article that if she can get Page and Plant on board with recording songs with her on her upcoming album, she should be able to get the last remaining member of Led Zeppelin, John Paul Jones to also agree to the project. Dolly has already recorded "Stairway To Heaven" in her Elly May Clampett bluegrass country style, but she has mentioned she wants to record it again with Page and Plant.
In an article dated today, November 14, 2023 on "Live for Live Music dot com", Dolly will be releasing her rock album "Rockstar" on November 17, and Page and Plant do not appear on the record. She stated that in the process of making "Rockstar" including her failed attempt to reunite Led Zeppelin members Robert Plant and Jimmy Page for the project, she stated, "I tried," she explains. "I got Ringo [Starr] and Paul [McCartney], at least I'm proud about that," she says, referring to her cover of "Let It Be" featuring the two living Beatles. "But I didn't get them. I liked them. But I did ask them!"
Interesting if Howard will bring this up during Dolly's interview on his satellite radio show tomorrow since he can't get Percy and Pagey out of his head.
