Any charity events that Beth crashed, she only crowded into the buffet line for free eats, grabbed a couple of bottles of booze, attached her body to a few of the famous invited guests to get her picture taken and then ran out to the waiting limo where Howard sat pretending he would show up to the event and later apologizing saying he was too busy to actually attend when it was a bait and switch. The invitations were for Howard with anyone as a plus-one which was Beth, but Howard wouldn't show up and Beth would. So they stopped all that because Howard wouldn't show up so Beth had to be a plus-one for someone else and it was a huge problem since all her friends are now married and have kids so that keeps Beth at bay.
Annual NSAL Gala
Since the Covids shut down that annual Beth Gala Awards ceremony that was started by Howard where the North Shore Animal League (NSAL) had to honor his wife Beth as their big cheese spokesperson and now board member, now NSAL is hosting a virtual fundraiser but is also trying to get people to show up in person so they'll donate and help fund NSAL honchos' salaries, including Beth's salary as their spokesperson and one of their useless board members.
So, once again Zoom Zombie Beth will appear via a Zoom camera at this year's big NSAL fundraiser and gala to honor their corporate donors as one wonders why Beth can't show up in person. I guess because the focus is finally off of her, it's no longer the big Beth awards gala, it's now a party for all big money donors and not just specifically to honor Beth because apparently NSAL is finally sick of the Sterns glomming onto them and now NSAL is trying to sell a calendar of 12 photos of Beth when she's not famous for anything so who would want 12 photos of a board member of NSAL? No one.
If you show up in person at this year's NSAL gala, you automatically get stuck with Beth's calendar. How funny is that?? And she normally wears huge goofy hats so she is the giant focal point and no one notices the animals in the photo anyway. What a cut-low to the Sterns. First, NSAL had to slash the price of that calendar in half due to dismal pre-sale orders and now they are just giving them away at their fundraiser in November [see blog sidebar about Beth's loser calendar].
Howard Desperate for a Town Hall Hosting Job
Howard is just like Beth with his big Zoom appearances pretending he is at the Sirius HQ in New York when he's not because his Sirius studio is half dark now with only a little desk with a computer speaker and no couch. The guests get a chair and tiny table to hold their coffee as they pretend that Howard is there with them in the studio and then the clips are uploaded to YouTube and edited to appear like Howard's in the studio when he is not.
But Howard is playing like he's always wanted it this way on purpose when it was Witz that sent him home for good with a pay cut with his latest contract renewal and once the Covid Invasion of 2020 hit, then Stern could save face saying that he wanted to work from home all along when he used to give speeches on the air of just the opposite and banned all of his employees from working from home.
Now, Howard pretends he's moved on from his stale little studio at Sirius and is now badgering his boss Jennifer Witz nonstop to get him another Town Hall at Sirius to host in conjunction with his company called Howard Stern Productions especially with his upcoming guest Bruce Springsteen who is also set to perform which is a perfect storm for a Stern-sponsored Town Hall.
Savior of Sirius Andy Cohen Update
Andy Cohen hosts Town Halls at Sirius all the time and of course he still is working at Sirius in person at his own studio along with his stable of stars on Radio Andy and on his second channel that is music only called the Kiki Lounge.
Sirius Honcho Jennifer Witz is wining and dining their golden goose Cohen and is giving him all the top interviews with several Town Halls included. But, the battle is on because Howard's badgering Witz to let him host a Town Hall with the rarely vertical Bruce Springsteen who can barely barf out some lyrics in between beer binges. I guess we'll have to watch what happens on the Battle of the Town Hall Hosts.
In between Howard's death notices on his show today, he forgot about the Big Kahuna Loretta Lynn who just died. Why did Howard ignore this? OH because she appeared live and in person on "Watch What Happens Live" and SANG with ANDY COHEN live on his what? His TV SHOW, something Howard doesn't have!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA. Andy also finished another BravoCon hosting his huge Real Housewives Convention in New York City, which ended yesterday, and is a runaway hit with tons of guests that Howard will never get on his stale show.
