Howard retorted that Beth could sue Imus for the skit and obviously nothing came of it because Beth would have to defend herself in court to prove that she was not a bimbo with herpes. It was just a skit Don Imus did for his show with Bernard and not meant to be real life which Howard Stern does all the time with his celebrity impersonators where Howard insults them all the time but no one can sue because it's just a bit for the show.
Howard can dish out the dirt but refuses to swallow his own that's hurled at him, especially from the Imus Show. Everyone is still laughing behind his back because Howard shopped around for a model wife and got stuck with an Ostrosky in his nest who wouldn't leave.
Since a quick search on the Internet revealed that Beth Ostrosky was a giant nobody, all Howard could eventually get for Beth to make some legit dough was a cat adoption gimmick where Beth liked to exploit her cancer cat Apple [see blog sidebar for that info] and collect donations for doing nothing but getting publicity but Howard was trying to copy Don Imus and his cancer kids ranch in New Mexico where all expenses were paid by Imus and his sponsors so terminally ill kids could spent some time on the farm away from doctors and hospitals.
But, Howard is all about collecting dough and not giving it away and Beth just buys a few cat towels with donated money and the rest goes to her 'expenses' ha ha ha, which means she can go on her own spending sprees with the rest of the donated cash.
Imus also knew early on that Howard would dump his first wife Alison when Hollywood Howie emerged with that awful movie "Private Parts" and Imus insulted Alison saying she was hideous ['hideous' being a term Imus used frequently and not meaning a physical deformity] and that Stern now has bikinied bimbo Beth in his barn. Everyone knew Howard was just a jerk waiting for that fame button to be punched and he could dump the old wife and kids bit and head to Hollywood and marry a super famous model and have movie producers lining up to hire Howard at the old age of 43, as if that was going to happen. Stern had no clue he was a marketing ploy, a publicity stunt and laughing stock that was not marketable beyond that movie and he would never be launched out of that radio box.
Don Imus, on the other hand, was a multiple MARCONI AWARD winner, he had a brainy and beautiful wife who had a regular segment on his show called "Blonde on Blonde" and of course Imus's show was broadcast on actual television, it was the cable FOX news business channel where his show aired for many years until he retired and then died a year after retiring.
Now Imus's sidekick Bernard is dead so Howard Stern can finally close that chapter on his life and he doesn't have to worry about anyone really knowing about Beth and her history of never having modeled in Europe, she only modeled in Pittsburgh and New Jersey for newspaper ads featuring cheesy oversized polyester lingerie or in ads in the National Enquirer for pants that never need ironing offering a 2 for 1 price deal along with instant free shipping.
But Howard tried to market Beth as some sort of bikini model when she never modeled bikinis for any company. She modeled giant coats and wide ass lingerie. The bikini shots were commissioned by Howard and he paid to have her in FHM magazine [which has recently revived in digital only format] and a few solo calendars and she appeared in a few FHM calendars for one of the months and that was the extent of her big bikini modeling. Being billed as only a bikini model means these women are deformed with bizarre proportions and can't fit into normal sized clothing for the editorial pages of fashion magazines and can't fit into any clothes for a runway show.
Beth did appear with Katie Lee Joel on a runway many years ago but that was specially fitted clothing that Howard paid for so Beth could play runway model when she is too thick for the normal size 4 or 6 that sample sizes come in for shows and photoshoots for magazines. Yes, you wonder, why was Katie Lee included in the fashion show with Beth, well, Howard also included Katie Lee in a double issue of Hamptons magazine where Howard took all the photos. Reportedly, Howard has always loved the foodie's fondues and is reportedly roaming around Katie's new NY townhouse hoping to taste her tarts.

Yes, the Beth Fan Page already blogged about that scathing comedy bit from the Don Imus radio show that showed Stern who was boss as well as the TV show "A Current Affair" standing up to Stern. Certain people cannot be bullied by Howard Stern and Howard knows when to back down. Howard didn't even have the courage to phony up some European modeling photos of Beth because everyone knows her backstory and it's as huge as her backside. All Beth ever did was go to Europe after High School and that was it.

The Reason Why Howard Kept Pushing Beth
as a Bikini Model
Howard tried selling Beth early on as a bikini model, both with calendars he paid for and when he paid to get the unknown nobody into the obscure magazine called FHM. This was because Beth never had a contract with any clothing company like Ralph Lauren or anyone, she never modeled in the editorial pages of Vogue, Harper's Bazaar or any other fashion magazine because not only was her face ugly, her body was freakishly misaligned. All Beth got was some random polyester pants ads in newspapers, cheesy lingerie ads in obscure online catalogs and random eyeglass ads for optometrist offices.
So, Howard tried to make Beth sexy by billing her as a bikini model because that's what she modeled in FHM magazine, which featured a bunch of celebs in bathing suits or lingerie and it's basically a G-rated magazine for boys, mainly Mormons, who couldn't get ahold of porno magazines even though Howard got Beth in FHM when she was already the ripe old age of 33 making Beth's photos hardly locker room pinup material.
