Of course it was just the announcer bit because Howard needs to portray George as a giant nobody that essentially works for Howard as if he's some big time talk show host like Johnny Carson.
As exclusively blogged about, George Takei was the huge host and celebrity superstar guest of the Inaugural Japan Parade in New York City on May 14, 2022. He appeared live and in person at the Sirius studios on May 9, 2022 and Howard was on the air that week and failed to allow George on his show to brag about himself being a huge invited guest star of that Japan Parade.
Michelle Collins of Radio Andy on Sirius did an interview with George talking all about the parade that aired on her show on May 13, 2022. Howard can't take Takei being a huge celebrity on the streets of New York while Howard sits alone inside a dark bargain basement radio bunker and is snubbed from all the red carpet events and not invited on any television shows either. He sits alone in the dark appearing on a little computer monitor and guests at the Sirius buildings in NY and LA where his boss Jennifer Witz took a giant buzz saw and hacked his overblown studio in half sending one half to the LA studios. Howard tries to pretend it's all normal but he's really hiding inside his hideout away from reality. He should've quit his loser satellite radio gig long ago, but his ego can't be tamed but reportedly his boss Jennifer Witz has a giant whip and chair.

Andy "Savior of Sirius" Cohen Update
One wonders where Howard Stern and Robin Quivers were for this big deal event honoring Scott Greenstein when Andy Cohen was obviously the invited superstar. I think it's obvious the Stern Show has been mothballed and it is stagnate and stinky like what mothballs do to clothing.
Howard's Lunatic Lockdown Update
As already blogged about exclusively on this famous blog numerous times, Howard Stern was sent home by his boss Jennifer Witz when the Covid invasion happened in 2020 but almost everybody now is back to work at their corporate buildings and retail stores yet Howard is still hiding inside his bargain basement radio bunker pretending it's all his own idea when it's his boss Witz putting the Fritz on Stern.
Suddenly last summer, Witz furloughed Howard but she had to tell him it was his summer hiatus to pretend he has a real show on television. Now alleged insiders are whispering to the bats in Howard's belfry that told this blogger that the old guy really did snap a twig.
Howard supposedly now thinks he is the Wizard of Sirius and commands everyone to beg to appear before him while he remains a disembodied voice and floating head high up on the wall with his booming voice dishing out commands to staff and guests alike.
Yeah, it's getting so bad that his wife Beth Stern is actually happy to be sharing her Happy Meals at her Monster Mansion in Florida with all those little Godzillas scampering around looking for a treat while Beth retreats to her selfie cabinet filled with unmentionables trying to stuff her wide ass into some thick bathing suit and badgering Howard to get them printed online somewhere but she does nothing and there is no market for people doing nothing that pose in Tarzan bathing suits and hide their facelifts from the sun.
