Stairway to Stardom 💥🎉🎵🎤🎹🌟🤩

YES - this is the FIRST in a long line of awards that "Becoming Led Zeppelin" will win as the awards season continues into 2026, when fans and critics alike shine their light on the greatest rock band that ever was and ever will be, with iconic music that will last through the ages that combined the striking on-stage persona, beauty and power of Page & Plant with the support from the combined expertise of Jones & Bonham that no one can match down to this day and moving onward into a future world, a future that will enjoy "Becoming Led Zeppelin" and the band's
once in a lifetime iconic music for eons to come.

‘Becoming Led Zeppelin’ was a winner at the 10th Annual Critics Choice Documentary Awards

The awards ceremony was held on Sunday, November 9th, and 'Becoming Led Zeppelin' won in the "Best Music Documentary" category, beating Billy Joel's documentary.

Excerpts from LedZepNews.com, from the 'Becoming Led Zeppelin' Director Bernard MacMahon, about his reaction to winning the Critics Choice award:

“We are completely stunned! We had absolutely no idea that we would win,” he said. “This is so meaningful, because as we discovered at the event, this award was exclusively voted for by the critics, some of whom introduced themselves after the awards and they were a highly intelligent and erudite bunch, with such thoughtful and perceptive comments about the movie.”

" ... And last, but not least a special thanks from the bottom of our hearts to all the fans that went to the cinema and watched this film multiple times,” he said. “They not only have swelled our hearts, but they’ve opened the doors for other filmmakers to have a shot at getting their documentaries on the big screen again.”

Shout out to ROBERT REDFORD

“We want to thank everybody at the Critics Choice for honoring the film. We want to thank Robert Redford, our mentor, who brought us to this country,” producer and writer Allison McGourty said.

“We wouldn’t be making films without him,” MacMahon added.

Due to jealousy by the Grammy nominating committee, this new award for “Becoming Led Zeppelin” comes after the film failed to gain a Grammy nomination in the best music film category last week. They can't face the music that Led Zeppelin was and is the greatest rock band in human history aside from the fact everyone is jealous of the Golden God Robert Plant and the wickedly gorgeous Jimmy Page.

The Power of Howard Stern Tanks "Stiller and Meara"

Beth Fans remember that Ben Stiller was on the Howard Stern show as reported on the October 22, 2025, Beth Fan Page blog entry, and he plugged his documentary about his parents who were a comedy duo, called "Stiller and Meara: Nothing is Lost", has now failed to win a Critics Choice award in any of the eligible documentary film categories. It even LOST to Mariska Hargitay's documentary about her mother Jayne Mansfield in the 'Best First Documentary Feature" category, so that's pretty bad if you can't beat a beheaded Mansfield [I know, it was only half her head].

DRESS FIGHT, DRESS FIGHT
2010

Beth doesn't compete in dress fights anymore because she basically goes to zero celebrity events, but Team Beth Fan Page likes to ferret out photos when Beth wore the same dress as another celebrity, or vice versa. This one is from the Hamptons in 2010. I do think Beth looks slightly better in the dress and she accessorized it better. So let's give one point to Beth as she finally wins a dress fight after reporting on these for several years on the famous Beth Fan Page. If you want to see prior competitions, you can plug in 'dress fight' in the search bar at the footer of this blog which should bring up those past blog entries, or use a virulent variant of that term.

In this case, I think Beth wore it best and she used the
light color accessories instead of the black purse and shoes
that Mariska wore.
