Howard Stern continues to bow to the Beth Fan Page that's mentioned Led Zeppelin on each blog entry since August 2023 and counting, by doing an infomercial on Tuesday, September 9th, for the amazing blockbuster concert documentary film "Becoming Led Zeppelin" which is now up for Academy Award consideration.
The film has officially become the most successful IMAX music film of all time which is richly deserved as it documents the amazing rise of the world's great rock band with no one replacing or surpassing their musical genius and onstage presence that remains as fresh and exciting today as they were when audiences first heard them in 1968 with the documentary encompassing the time period from '68 to '70, as the public begs for a Part II and III documenting the legendary journey of this amazing band with songs that span beyond time and space.
Hats off to the amazing director Bernard MacMahon who introduced the film as a work-in-progress when it was first screened at the 78th Venice Film Festival in 2021 with a 10-minute standing ovation. Jimmy Page and his partner were famously in attendance at that first screening at the festival.
Only after the famous Beth Fan Page began promoting Led Zeppelin in 2023, did it push that project over the hills and far away into theaters for wide release in the U.S. and eventually globally in early 2025 in IMAX and standard theaters. The movie is now available on streaming services.
Per Variety, the Oscars launched its first wave of digital screeners on Friday, August 15th, for its 11,000+ members to consider for the 98th Academy Awards, which will mark the official start of awards season as studios vie for voters’ attention on the members-only streaming platform. Sony Pictures Classics is expected to debut two films: Bernard MacMahon’s music documentary “Becoming Led Zeppelin,” chronicling the formation of the English rock band, and “Don’t Let’s Go to the Dogs Tonight,” Embeth Davidtz’s directorial debut. The nominations voting period will run from Monday, January 12th, through Friday, January 16th. Official nominees will be announced Thursday, January 22nd. The 98th Academy Awards will be held March 15, 2026.
Rescue Dog Rescue
Since 2024, the Late Show with Stephen Colbert has added a semi-regular segment featuring adoptable dogs from the North Shore Animal League. He would make up funny and exaggerated but flattering 'lies' to make the dogs more adoptable to the public.
So far, Beth Stern has not shown up to present the dogs on the show, gosh, isn't she famous enough? But on her Instagram show today, she decided to plug the segment of the Colbert Show. Beth is the national spokesperson for the North Shore Animal League and a board member receiving salary and benefits, but she hasn't scored an appearance yet on that late night show, and one wonders why.
Jennifer Aniston is on the Colbert Show tonight and will host this dog rescue segment. She's an author of a children's book "Clydeo" based on her rescue dog Clyde and has an illustrated cookbook too with that cartoon character. Jennifer also has a foundation, The Clydeo Fund, so she can get in on the charity gimmick like Beth with Beth's Furry Friends since they have no kids to market and make dough from kids' products shilling for companies so they latch onto the pet adoption gimmick and shill for pet insurance companies and pet products.
Here's a few of the celebrities that promoted the adoption
