Beth looked pretty bad as if she was asked at the last minute if she wanted to hop in that limo and head to the city or forfeit her seat so she pinned back that forelock and hopped on board that crazy train.
Gracie has that generic sound that everyone has with the auto-tunes microphone and bangs on a keyboard, strums a guitar and warbles on stage all to the delight of a bunch of people who have no clue who this kid is, but her daddy's rich so this is what she wants to do while she tries to come up with some dating drama or whatever to drum up interest in herself and buy some music awards.
Beth Fans remember that J.J. Abrams has done the Stern show, he is a filmmaker having worked on various projects including Mission Impossible and the Star Wars movies, so of course the Sterns would want to glom onto him if they can.
Per IMDb trivia, J.J. is a fan of Howard Stern, who is also a fan of of Abrams' work (particularly Lost (2004) and Star Trek (2009)) and personally called Artie Lange through his agent to congratulate him on his being hired to replace Jackie Martling ("The Joke Man") as a sidekick in 2002. He also gave Stern's daughters a tour of the set of Felicity (1998).
Crazy Train
Beth was a plus-one boarding that crazy train into the city with Ali Wentworth and her family with some other family too, who knows, for the Gracie Abrams concert. It looks like Beth was a last minute replacement because she looked like crap with a barrette to hold back that dirty hair as she jumped into the limo as a plus-one addition or that ticket would go to waste. Beth is always available if any celeb needs a plus-one because Beth does nothing and goes nowhere because she's not famous but is married to a famous cheapskate.
