Sirius Snubs Stern at Grammys

As blogged about many times, Howard Stern has always wanted three channels on Sirius but he got only two, Howard 100 and 101. Yet he continues to badger his boss Jennifer Witz for a third music channel and has an array of aged rockers trekking through his studio to lip sync to old records and do a stale interview all to no avail.

Now, you would think Howard, with all his musical guests on his satellite radio show, would be a shoo-in to get the Grammy coverage gig in Los Angeles this past weekend and he and Beth would get to hobnob at the Grammy parties but nope, Sirius went to LA and partied with Sirius superstar Gayle King along with Scott Greenstein and Howard's buddy Bon Jovi but where was Howard and Beth? Nowhere. Howard even had last week off so he could have easily flown to the Grammy Awards with Sirius staff but he was blocked from boarding due to him not being famous. Oh well, Howard, don't give up getting a freebie trip to the West coast like you have always been able to finagle years ago but Sirius is kind of done funding your failed fame quest.

Stern's Time Off Press Hype

As also blogged about, Howard was off the air last week and he's had the last week of January off since 2020. He takes the last week off in January because he gets annual contract adjustments from Sirius to balance out his stagnate salary and his work hours. So, he took last week off as usual and gets miffed when his boss Jennifer Witz makes him stick to his schedule. He does not work according to his whims, but per his contract.

But Howard doesn't just sit around fussing with failure. He works hard at all his ghostwriting and firing off his own PR pieces to the tabloids landing in the New York Post. This is common, a lot of celebs or their PR agents type up articles for immediate release and the journalist will cut and paste it and get the byline.

Here we go this year with Howard getting his little ghostwritten article in the New York Post, butting in with his opinions about Taylor swift and her footballer pigeon boyfriend but the thing is, Howard implies he was on the air last week when he wasn't. Howard doesn't like it when his boss Jennifer Witz forces Stern to stick with the contract, outside of any additional time off he may take during the year.

So, here we go with Howard's bullshit fantasy article filled with his own outright lies but I guess he can try to blame the writer that posted it in the Post.

Beth & Ali: Clothing Allies

In January for Howard's birthday, that irritating crackpot Ali Wentworth trotted around the Stern neighborhood with her munchkin toadying husband in tow with Ali wearing one of Beth's hats that she has worn a bunch of times. Beth only has a limited supply of clothes at the Florida empty fortress that just has large meeting rooms, guest rooms, and a basement spa and cosmetic surgery center equipped with the lastest anti-aging gadgets with Beth barely showing her IG fan any of that house at all. Just a few crummy rooms of old junk furniture and the laundry room area where Beth hangs out and heats up her oats in the microwave. Howard can't afford to get the huge hostel decorated and doesn't bother because it's primarily for corporate meetings and time shares with guests using the spa area with the outdoor pool being mostly off limits since it's invaded by reptiles and that's why Beth stopped her porch fashion shows which this blogger blogged about at the time when they first purchased their empty nest in the everglades.
