Howard has to pack his own bags for his big trip to Miami still flustered over the untimely death of his long-time companion and life partner, Ralph Cirella the Stern stylist and makeup and hair weave artist who used to handle all these menial tasks for the aging satellite radio show host.
It's been a difficult transition for the King of All Mediocre Talent having to function without his footman, his toadying tailor, his benefactor and buddy Ralph Cirella. Yes, he still enlists Felix the Tailor from the John Varvatos design company but he has to actually pay per visit for that pro to show up at his apartment in the city because he doesn't just work for perks but for pay.
Then we've got Beth Stern who is still desperate to be a plus-one to anybody with a ticket to New York Fashion Week going on right now but she's been shuttled to Florida which is her primary residence now to save her horseface from all that embarrassment from being snubbed by all the important society and red carpet events in town. She is still the boss lady over the hired help from the North Shore Animal League shuttling cats around and photographing them at her residences for selfie tax purposes.
But Beth's a busy bee too prepping for her big Miami hotel appearance and is expected to horn in on the Stern Show as mentioned on yesterday's blog entry to stage a serenade by Billy Joel for Valentine's Day. He is trolling around trying to sell his new song since he finally scored a new ghostwriter after 17 years of a ghostwriter revenue shortfall and why he is constantly trying to find paying gigs. His 100th appearance at Madison Square Garden will air on CBS. So he's got a lot to plug lately.
