As usual for Rain Man Howard Stern, he spent his holiday break in New York with his family like he's been doing forever and claimed to have called in sick to his employer to squeeze another week out of his vacation when everyone knows he was too embarrassed for not being invited to go anywhere with his celebrity friends because everyone knows the Sterns are just hangers-on, not wanting to pay their share.
Of course Howard needed extra time off to close the book for good on his long-time companion, personal toady and tailor, Ralph Cirella. Howard's fan fondly remembers Ralph as the little teenager who used to call into the Stern show in the early 1980s and glommed onto Howard's rising star and never let go and it paid off for the guy who later served as his duplicate, his decoy, when Howard needed to sneak around and not be noticed he sent red herring Ralph in the other direction. From a distance, no one could tell them apart. It's like when Carol Burnett scouted for her double to play her sister on her variety show and miracously found Vicki Lawrence who could easily double for the comedian and they became fast friends as well as working partners on the hit variety show.
A few years ago Howard stated on his SiriusXM radio show that he had his staff clean out his storage warehouse and was no longer going to pay for that space which included a lot of Ralph's possessions too. Howard cleaned house in more ways than one knowing that Ralph was not long for this world following the Covid invasion and was one step closer to the grim reaper's grasp. Beth is glad that Ralph is finally off the payroll and she can pocket the proceeds from Howard's already flailing production company, of course, he has more than one and uses Howard Stern Productions for all his ventures with SiriusXM, such as, the Billy Joel Town Hall he hosted several years ago, Howard's 60th birthday party was his own production, and the Stephen Talkhouse Beth Fundraiser was also his production along with Sirius which frequently sponsors musical events for executives and top promoters and sponsors at that Hamptons roadside biker barstop.
Run For The Roses
Carson Kressley was front and center at the famous Rose Parade in Los Angeles riding a gorgeous Saddlebred as we wonder if Beth got another wreath of roses from her hubby Howard Stern this year for Christmas. So far, she's posted nothing on her Instagram Show of her holiday gifts from Howard because she lives in Florida and he lives in New York and especially since he stated today on his satellite radio show that's he been sick, obviously he's been in New York this whole time when normally he will visit Beth in Florida. Of course there is no more Ralph for Beth to boss around and fetch and carry for her so she's been having to do a lot of extra work barking orders at the help in Florida. But normally Howard always gifts Beth a wreath of flowers as a gift for the holidays because Howard has wreather madness.
Chalamet GPS Update
The famously gorgeous Timothée Chalamet was at the Golden Globes awards on Sunday night nominated for his starring role in "Wonka" but he lost out to Paul Giamatti which is unbelievable. Wow, the power of Howard Stern since Paul was in the immensely forgettable Stern bio-fantasy "Private Parts" (1997) which was much like Barbra Streisand's 50 lb memoir, they are novels based on true events.
