Barbra once had a career filled with bright comedic film performances along with solid soundtracks with movies that later turned into cinematic dramatic drivel that one could hardly sit through one time let alone watching reruns. She skewed the original story of "Yentl" to make the character somewhat likable when she/he was not in the original version but that soundtrack to that movie was boring and the movie bizarre yet she views it as her sort of magnum opus.
In press items, Barbra is quoted as saying that her new book goes into her many love affairs because she stated that's what the publisher wanted and one would think that even that would not draw audiences to spend half their waking life plowing through a memoir that could double as a doorstop or listen to about 50 hours of that book on audiotape, I mean, really, Barbra? Your fat ego has a fat ego.
Barbra didn't bother trekking into the Sirius studios and was on a Zoom call from her Malibu home because she knows Howard has no impact on book sales yet Sirius does play her music on "The Blend" Channel SXM16 which is just a standard music channel not solely dedicated to any one artist.
