Just a Pretty Face

Brooke Shields made her first appearance on the Howard Stern show today only after making sure the guy is working from home permanently so she doesn't have to meet up with him again in person like she's done in the past at various Hamptons events.

For about six months and counting, Brooke Shields has been plugging her documentary "Pretty Baby" prior to and after its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in 2022, and keeps plugging it with no end in sight.

She finally got her New York screening of the movie but she could not get a theatrical release of the documentary and it was dumped onto the Hulu streaming service and it is available now for anyone wanting to see how Brooke was just a pretty face and not much else who didn't marry well.

Brooke has related in interviews about her struggles to have children and had one defrosted frozen embryo baby and the other one was supposedly created naturally from the universe. She names one Rowan and didn't name the other one Martin missing the punchline. 

But Brooke's documentary fails to describe what exactly the point is except to remind audiences that Brooke was a famous beauty, primarily in the 70s and 80s, and that's it. Yes, beauty fades but in Brooke's case, that's all she had and that is all the documentary focuses on, her beauty and having the canned ham Brooke show off to audiences how beautiful she used to be and how she recovered her footing after many years of flops by clomping on a Broadway stage looking like a 7 foot drag queen. Her movie has no point but you will spin and spin forever trying to find a point and Brooke will talk forever about herself until you run out and claim you have an appointment or fake your death to be free of her. 

Some talk show and online interviewers will feign being shocked at an underage Brooke appearing nude in "Pretty Baby" and semi-nude in "The Blue Lagoon" with Brooke responding, "It was the time period - you couldn't do that today." Oh, okay, so this documentary has no point. No, it doesn't.

circles about her past and her straight-to-Hulu TV movie has no point.

Okay, fine, Brooke, let's all admit you were beautiful. Can we move on now? Not yet, as she continues to appear on countless podcasts [including her own that Howard failed to let her plug on Sirius since she is on Spotify] and TV talk shows and finally consenting to do the Howard Stern satellite radio show today which is the sign of a truly desperate woman consenting to get STUCK with Stern.

her selfie documentary praising herself as if she's
suffered more than Jesus Christ, both being sacrificial lambs but
Brooke's lamb was lewd.

What is the point of the documentary? Hard to say but you will spin in circles which is the byproduct of living with Brooke. Oh, it was the time period - about her appearing nude on camera - can't do that now with underage actors - oh okay - the point? Oh, my mom was an alcoholic - oh okay, yet that mom of hers got Brooke working with the top directors of that time period. However, according to Brooke's latest book, Woody Allen cast Brooke in one of his films and she ended up on the cutting room floor only after Teri Shields went out on a date with him. So Teri apparently couldn't coerce the famous director Allen to take Brooke and have him allegedly be caught up in an underage scandal which would come later in Allen's life.

Yes, apparently, the point of the documentary is to remind everyone that Brooke was a top model and appeared in a few scathing roles and she went on to clomping around on Broadway, married and divorced a tennis player, and now lives a stable life with a former TV writer and producer who co-founded the "Funny or Die" website, TV production company and YouTube channel. She has two daughters she vaguely publicizes and founded her website "Beginning is Now" along with her podcast "Now What" featuring interviews with various celebs and public figures. So, that's about her life in a nutshell and there is not much else to crack open.
