As also exclusively revealed on this blog, Howard thumbed his wedding ring during the promotion in Cannes. Yes, he took off his ring from his ring finger and moved it to his thumb because he and the ball and chain had already separated. Interesting how Howard couldn't manage to take his real wife and kids to Cannes, nope, he already split with Alison and was dating Mary. Ever since Stern's soft breakup with Mary, I mean, he explained how he wanted no more kids, how their love of $cience brought them together and Howard housing Mary and her family each year on her and her husband's anniversary at Stern's Hamptons house, it made everything fine between them. He has always promoted Mary and inserted himself into her group of aged has-beens including Courteney Cox and everyone puts up with Stern as long as he pays his fair share and pays those past dues in the membership of $cience lovers.

On today's show he of course plugged his plug Mary since he has always invested in her career to shut her up. I mean, she was supposed to be the second Mrs. Stern, not Beth Ostrosky Nobody, but Howard wanted to find a much younger second wife and one who was done with the childbirth gig because he could barely afford that major league divorce payout to Alison, let alone start another big second family what with those giant three daughters of his costing him an annual fortune to shut them up.
