Garaged

Since the Covid Invasion of early 2020, everyone in the Hamptons and Florida society circles have circled their wagons against the invading Stern army consisting of Howard and Beth and their worker bee drones like Ralph Cirella, Brad the Bagel Boy, and don't forget Nobu Nelson who delivers that disgusting shrimp and pasta to Howard every Wednesday just like he did when he had shared custody of his last lab creation Ashley Jade Stern who is expecting that ball to drop well before new year's while her stepmom got the surviving rabbit.

It is no secret that the North Shore Animal League (NSAL) is as equally tired of the Griftinskys and finally garaged the Sterns' annual cash grab gimmick by cutting the minimum donation cost of their Beth Stern NSAL calendar in half since the pre-sales were almost zilch. See the blog sidebar for that information.

Ever since that calendar catastrophe, Beth's been as mad as a wet hen and her henpecked hubby Howard is not too pleased either, even saying on his satellite radio show that he wanted to skip out of town yesterday when he had another show to do today, but the point was, he wanted to diss the NSAL Gala and fundraiser that was held tonight with Beth reportedly appearing on Zoom with a pre-recorded pet rescue message.

As blogged about on October 17, 2022, the NSAL Gala is now in a penthouse bar and not at a large venue and persons could attend in person or online. Anyone purchasing actual tickets to show up in person, were forced to take a Beth calendar as a part of their ticket price and it included other gift items. This was the only way NSAL was going to unload those useless Beth calendars.

Notice Beth will always wear giant hats and goofy costumes so she
is the focal point and not the animals that you can barely find
in her pet calendar photos. It looks like she's wearing a giant
solar powered hat in that cover photo above.

The Beth Fan Page has done a brief history of the NSAL Gala fundraisers in the past and Donald Trump used to frequent the events as well as Jerry Seinfeld's former jailbait girlfriend Shoshanna until her Big Chief Daddy put the kibosh on all that and Seinfeld had to go looking for a cash cow closer to his own age and he scored one with a sizable divorce payout.

In 1998, Donald Trump appeared at the NSAL Adoptathon with a
Playmate and Shoshanna Lonstein appeared in a NSAL publicity
shot circa 2000.

As blogged about on November 21, 2015, Howard first foisted Beth on NSAL circa 2004 because Howard needed a gimmick to market Beth and animals were tagged. The actual NSAL Beth Awards got off to a rocky start with a fundraiser sponsored by Contour photography in 2006 when Howard paraded around showing off Beth which was the same year he started with Sirius. Later that same year was when Howard sponsored the fully developed Beth Awards, where NSAL would honor their paid spokesperson Beth, and a bunch of people would buy tickets to raise money to give to NSAL to help pay for all the high salaried employees and honor big donors and sponsors.

Jay Leno's Garaged

As Howard talked about on today's show, Jay Leno had a garage accident while working on one of his cars in his massive collection that sent him to a hospital with third degree burns and he had to cancel some gigs until he recovers.

Some insiders are noticing these sudden fires and the public burning of celebs as we remember the late Anne Heche who died last summer as a result of a fire and explosion when she crashed her car and she suffered severe burns that proved fatal. Reportedly, Howard is terrified to go near any of his cars and makes Beth test ride them first.

Interesting that it seemed Howard failed to bring up that Jay is the host of a game show called "You Bet Your Life" which was based on the old Groucho Marx game show that started in 1947 with the last version of the show ending in 1961 and just called "The Groucho Show". Howard always says how he wants a game show gig since you basically film an entire season in a month and you're done and you get your check and that's it. Jay's game show is expected to run through 2023.

I have blogged about Jay Leno's Garage a few times on this famous blog before since it's a huge hit on cable TV and on YouTube and features dozens of movie star cars and classic movie and TV cars while Jay provides his expertise on everything relating to cars, he isn't just a collector.

Howard can't take it that Jay Leno's Garage won an EMMY in 2011 aside from his Emmy for The Tonight Show in 1995 and aside from his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame that Howard keeps badgering Boss Witz to get him but she can't stop laughing long enough to give him a response.

JAY LENO'S GARAGE hit it out of the park with a super segment on the car actually owned and driven by Roger Moore in The Saint, and Jay got to try it out on the open road. Jay is always ahead of the curve with his awesome show and he leaves Howard Stern in the dust as usual.

Jay Leno's Garage featured the original Volvo owned and driven
by Roger Moore in "The Saint". Roger Moore had stated he tried
to get a Jaguar for the show but it never came through so he
just used his own car that he drove back and forth to the studio.

Jamie Foxx of the FoxxHole interviewed Jay for a
Sirius Town Hall at his garage.

Now for today's Stern Show excerpts.
